Can I choose my pitch or accommodation?
At most of our holiday parks we do not allocate pitches, all pitches are selected upon your arrival based on what is available. We cannot guarantee pitches next to each other. Specific holiday homes can be reserved – please let the Bookings Team know when you make your booking.
When is the balance on my holiday due?
Balances are due 10 weeks before your arrival date for self-catering, glamping and touring holidays and 28 days before arrival for camping holidays. If you are making the booking within these dates, the full amount will be payable upon booking. Please visit www.wdlh.co.uk and choose ‘Manage my booking’ to pay your balance, or call 01308 426940.
Do you take rallies?
Yes we do welcome rallies at select holiday parks, outside of peak season. Visit www.wdlh.co.uk/rallies/ to find out more, or call the Bookings Team on 01308 426947 to enquire.
A rally is considered to be 15 or more pitches.
Can we make a group booking?
Group bookings are welcome. We think that group bookings work particularly well in apartments or glamping accommodation. Specific lodges and caravans can also be booked next to each other for those on holiday in groups. For touring and camping bookings, we cannot guarantee that you will be next to each other as pitches are selected on arrival.
All bookings need to be in individual names, addresses, postcodes, mobiles and email addresses.

Can I add extra guests to my booking?
With self-catering bookings, you can add more guests to your booking, as long as the maximum capacity of the accommodation is not exceeded. For touring and camping bookings, the price is based on 2 people, but extra adults and children can be added for a small charge. Please note no changes can be made to bookings less than 21 days before arrival and amendments before this date are charged at £25 each time. Contact 01308 426940 to make an amendment.
What days can you arrive?
Touring and camping bookings can commence on any day.
For self-catering, half of our accommodation allows arrivals on a Friday or Monday and the other half on a Saturday. Bookings in glamping accommodation can commence on a Friday or Monday.
What deposit do I need to pay to make a booking?
A deposit of £40 per week, secures a touring or camping holiday, £100 per week for glamping holidays and £100 per week for self-catering holidays. If a booking is made 10 weeks or less before the arrival date, then the full payment is required at the time of booking, except if it is either a booking that is under £100 (full payment required at the time of booking) or it is a camping booking (full payment required if 28 days or less until the arrival date).

What time can I check in?
Check in for touring and camping bookings is from 1pm, with departure by 11am.
Check in for self-catering and glamping bookings is from 4pm, with departure by 10am. Please note there are no waiting areas, so please do not arrive before the scheduled arrival times.
If you are going to arrive after 5pm, please phone the Park Reception before 4pm to let them know.

Can I cancel my holiday?

Do I need insurance?
We strongly recommend that you take advantage of insurance to cover your booking. A leaflet will be enclosed with your confirmation booking.
Do you offer early check in or late check outs?
Please note we do not allow early check ins or late departures on any Holiday Accommodation. If the key is ready before the allocated check in time, we will contact you.
Late check outs are available on Touring & Camping bookings, during low and mid-season only (subject to availability), excluding bank holidays. This can only be booked the day before departure over the phone or in person at the Park Reception. This extends the check out time from 11am to 1pm and a £15.00 charge applies.
Can I stay over Christmas and New Year
For holiday accommodation, our lodges and apartments at Highlands End and the lodges at Golden Cap are open all year round (with the exception of the 2 bedroom lodge).
For touring & motorhomes, the gravel pitches at Highlands End and the hard-base pitches at Golden Cap are open all year round, including over Christmas and New Year.

Can I make amendments to my booking?
Amendments can only be made by the person that made the booking.
Any date changes are subject to availability, and an admin fee of £25 must be paid at the time the amendment is made.
What are your prices?
You can view our prices and availability by visiting the Booking page. We reserve the right to alter or amend our published prices, so long as you are notified before booking. The price of your accommodation will be set out at the time of booking and this will not change unless you make any amendments to your holiday. Special offers must be claimed at the time of booking and cannot be added retrospectively.
Can I book my next holiday before I leave?
Yes, you can book another holiday at any time while on park, just visit the Park Reception. If you book your holiday for the following year while you are still on the park, you can take advantage of our Book Before you Leave offer – www.wdlh.co.uk/special-offers/
Can I extend my holiday?
Yes, you can extend your holiday at any time if the dates are available. If you would like to extend before you arrive, call 01308 426940 and if you are already on park, visit the Park Reception where they will be happy to help. All extensions are subject to availability and payment of the additional cost.
Can I pay my balance in installments?
You can pay your holiday in instalments as long as the full balance is paid by the balance due date, which is 10 weeks before the arrival date.
Do I get a booking confirmation?
Yes a booking confirmation will be sent by email shortly after booking. Please allow up to 24 hours for this to arrive and check your junk inbox if you have not received it. If you still have not received it, call 01308 426940. Always check your booking confirmation. We are unable to accept responsibility for any misunderstandings or errors arising. Your confirmation is our understanding of your booking.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Digital gift vouchers for holidays are available. This is a great way to gradually save up for your holiday or to give a great present to friends or family. Call 01308 426947 or email bookings@wdlh.co.uk to purchase.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bookings can be made online 24 hours a day. For online bookings, payments can be made by logging in to the website at any time. We take payments by credit or debit card. For bookings made over the phone, payments can only be made by phone calls or by online banking – BACS / online banking details are available on request.
