There is an open-plan feel with a bright and airy living space, thanks to the fully glazed front. The french doors open out onto an integrated and covered veranda and decking with outdoor furniture, perfect for al-fresco dining, evening drinks and for enjoying the incredible views of the surrounding countryside and partial sea views.

In the living area there is a comfortable L shaped sofa, bluetooth speakers, an electric fire and wall mounted TV and in the kitchen area there is a microwave, under-counter fridge, oven, grill and 4 ring hob, a kettle and sink. The rear dining area transforms at night with a wall mounted pull-down double bed and above the dining area is a high level fixed mezzanine floor with 2 single beds and ladder access. Please note this may not be suitable for very young children.

The generous washroom includes a large shower, heated towel rail, toilet and sink with shaver socket. There are plug sockets and USB sockets and 2 of the new Jurassic Escape Pods are also dog friendly, allowing up to 1 dog (extra charges apply) and each pod has allocated parking next to it for 1 car.

This new glamping option provides a more luxurious accommodation, between our traditional glamping accommodation and our luxury lodges and the position of the pods within the Red Hill View area of the park, means they enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding hills and countryside. They are just a 5 minute walk from Seatown Beach, the Anchor Inn and the park reception / shop and it is 15 minutes along the footpaths to Chideock with its 2 pubs, convenience store and bus stop.

The Pods are available arriving on a Friday for 3 nights, a Monday for 4 nights or for 7 nights arriving on a Friday or Monday. In the designated dog friendly Jurassic Escape Pods, dog charges are £25 for 7 nights and £15 for 3 or 4 nights. Bedding & Linen Packs are included and provided in the Pod on arrival but beds are not made up. These include duvets, pillows and linen. Check in is from 4pm and check out by 10am. Parking is provided for up to 2 cars.

A deposit of £100 per booking per week is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 10 weeks before the arrival date. If it is less than 10 weeks until the arrival date, the full amount is required upfront at the time of booking.

Please note that internal photos are provided by the manufacturer and are intended for general marketing purposes only and should not be relied upon by any person as being complete or accurate. The photos provided show a double bed on the upper level, but for us this will be 2 single beds.  Please note there is restricted headroom on the upper level and a ladder to reach it.

What our guests say

  • Very peaceful Park

The wildlife is stunning, we were visited by the ducks on a regular basis which was lovely. Our visit was very enjoyable and we will definitely be back in the future!

  • 5 out of 5 isn't enough!

This is simply our favorite touring park along the south coast. The location couldn't be better with views to die for and an abundance of fresh sea air. The park is spic and span and extremely well kept with very friendly staff.

An excellent Park as a base to visit the Dorset coast, Jurassic Coast, Chesil Beach, Lyme Regis, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, to name a few.

  • Fantastic Park

10 out of 10 is not enough for this Holiday Park. We have been here 3 times and we love it more and more every time. The park has all you need, with some pitches overlooking the sea and a great restaurant.
