Dorset Diamond Awards Donation

16 December 2020Holiday Park News

With the ongoing Covid-19 situation, it’s been a very different year to what we expected and our team have worked very hard in difficult circumstances to help guests get a much needed break in Dorset. Under normal circumstances we hold a team end-of-season Christmas party, during which we congratulate and reward the team with the Dorset Diamond Awards that you, our guests, nominate different members of the team for that have gone above and beyond and given an exceptional level of customer service. the team for.

Obviously this year, these awards have not been able to take place so we have congratulated members of the team and given awards over the course of the season. Not holding this end-of-season awards also means we have been able to make a saving in expenses, which we have donated to Dorset County Hospital to help support our local healthcare facility and to help give those in need a better festive period and 2021.

Our £1,600 donation will go to the Robert White unit, which was opened in 2018 by Martin Clunes and is a Dorset Cancer Centre. Our donation will go towards providing additional equipment for the benefit of patients in 2021. We have also made our annual donation of £250 to Julia’s House Children’s Hospice in Dorset, who are dedicated to providing support for families caring for children with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition.

What our guests say

  • Very peaceful Park

The wildlife is stunning, we were visited by the ducks on a regular basis which was lovely. Our visit was very enjoyable and we will definitely be back in the future!

  • 5 out of 5 isn't enough!

This is simply our favorite touring park along the south coast. The location couldn't be better with views to die for and an abundance of fresh sea air. The park is spic and span and extremely well kept with very friendly staff.

  • Best holiday ever!

This is by far the best Holiday Park I have been to. The views are breath taking with easy access to the beach and nice coastal walks to West Bay. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday in a stunning location, then this is the place to come.

Golden Cap is a little bit of heaven. The views are awesome, right next to the sea. It's all relaxed and low key just how we like it.

An excellent Park as a base to visit the Dorset coast, Jurassic Coast, Chesil Beach, Lyme Regis, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, to name a few.

  • Fantastic Park

10 out of 10 is not enough for this Holiday Park. We have been here 3 times and we love it more and more every time. The park has all you need, with some pitches overlooking the sea and a great restaurant.
